Lets create your perfect table
Whether you dream of a live-edge masterpiece, a striking river table, or a simple, timeless beauty — coffee table, banquet, round or grand — I’ll work with you to design and handcraft something entirely unique. Every piece begins with British wood, rich in provenance, and ends as a showpiece built to last for generations.

I am embarking on an extraordinary project — transforming a slab of oak from a tree planted in the early 1800s by Mary Shelley, the iconic author and creator of Frankenstein. I will transform this into a one-of-a-kind table. Measuring 1400mm by 1300mm across its live edge and 100mm thick, this slab is rich in history, character, and presence.
The central rot promises to become a stunning feature once carefully treated and filled with resin, enhancing the natural void and creating a breathtaking centrepiece. The bark will be removed while preserving the live edge, retaining the organic beauty of this historic tree.
This table will come with certified provenance from the Shelley estate, connecting it directly to one of Britain’s most iconic writers.
Follow the journey as we bring this remarkable piece of British literary history to life — from raw slab to heirloom, showcasing the patience, craft, and care behind every stage.POA, if you are interested in this rare opportunity to own this piece of British heritage with this provenance, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me to talk about it.

Every table I create begins with the wood itself — and I believe that where it comes from matters. I use only British wood, carefully sourced from responsible, ethical suppliers who share my commitment to sustainability and provenance.
British wood offers exceptional beauty, character, and history, with grains and tones that can’t be replicated elsewhere. Each slab tells its own story, often decades or even centuries in the making. By choosing local, ethically harvested timber, I ensure that every piece is environmentally responsible, supports local forestry, and preserves the legacy of these magnificent trees.
This approach allows me to offer more than just furniture — it creates heirlooms with a story, rooted in the landscapes of Britain, and built to last for generations.
